When you need pain relief, we can combine your prescription into a variety of forms including combination pills or transdermal (topical) creams, providing you with a more convenient way to manage your discomfort.
Some of the most commonly prescribed drugs for pain are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) like Aleve® and Motrin®. Unfortunately, these drugs can cause unpleasant side effects including upset stomach, an increased risk of ulcers, and gastritis. Our compounding pharmacists can prepare an NSAIDS transdermal cream you can apply directly to the sight of pain and/or inflammation. Because these creams deliver medication directly to the affected area, they are absorbed quickly without the side effects of oral medications.
