Gary Grove, R.Ph
After receiving his B.S. in Pharmacy from UMKC, Gary Grove acquired Grove Pharmacy in 1975 from his father, Don Grove. The company has been in the family for over 60 years and has expanded to include three pharmacy locations, Grove Spa & Medi Spa and Grove Deli. Gary devotes his time to community involvement and local humanitarian needs. He has also served as an Aids Project of the Ozarks Board member for more than 25 years.

Compounding Pharmacist
Nancy Miller, R.Ph
Pharmacist Nancy Miller specializes in drug compounding and HRT consultations. She received her pharmacist degree in 1982 from UMKC and has been working for Grove Pharmacy since 1990. Her husband, Dace, is a gastroenterologist and they have three children; Abby, Dack and Andrew. Nancy enjoys pottery and is active on the UMKC alumni board.

Jerry Stankewitz, B.S., Pharm.D., R.Ph.
Jerry Stankewitz serves as the Retail Pharmacist-in-Charge at the National St. location and joined Grove Pharmacy in 2011. He received his B.S. in Biology and Biochemistry in 2002 from Southern Illinois University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006 from the University of Maryland. Jerry's clinical experience includes four years of providing comprehensive medical care to persons living with HIV, both in University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University affiliated clinics. His specialties include Immunology, Virology and Infections disease. His wife, Kelly, has worked in Pharmaceutical Research and Development for the past 15 years. Jerry and kelly have a son named Tyler.

Compounding Pharmacist
Kalli Svoboda, PharmD
Compounding pharmacist, Kalli Svoboda, joined Grove Pharmacy in 2005, and currently serves as the Pharmacist-In-Charge at Grove Pharmacy East. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1999 from the University of Nebraska’s College of Pharmacy in Omaha and completed her residency in 2000 at the University of Iowa’s hospitals and clinics. Kalli has two daughters, Maggie and Marley.

Veterinarian and Compounding Pharmacist
Dan Loper, R.Ph, DVM
Compounding pharmacist Dan Loper specializes in compounding for the veterinary patient. He received his BS in Agriculture in 1986, his BS in Pharmacy in 1989, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 from the University of Georgia. Dan has worked both as a Retail Pharmacist and as a Veterinarian. Dan and his wife Teri have 4 children; Nate, Michaelyn, Gabe, and Zeke. Dan’s hobbies include humanitarian relief trips, building an airplane with his kids, and cooking gluten free breads.

Thomas Lale, R.Ph
Pharmacist Tom Lale joined Grove Pharmacy in 2006. He received his pharmacist degree in 1983 from the UMKC School of Pharmacy. Tom has worked exclusively in retail pharmacy throughout his career and co-owned a pharmacy in Hollister, Mo for 11 years. Tom and his wife Debi have four sons; Tully, Dane, Joseph, and Jonathan. Tom enjoys running, and cycling.

Sarah Billings, R.Ph
Sarah Billings received her Doctor of Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2007. Upon graduation, she worked for an independent pharmacy in Columbia, MO. In Columbia, she enjoyed working in the retail setting and specialized in Medication Therapy Management (MTM). She also has enjoyed working with pharmacy students from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and University of Missouri – Kansas City. In June 2010, she became a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). She began working for Grove in 2011 when her family moved back to Springfield. She is excited to bring her work with MTM and pharmacy students to Grove Pharmacy. She and her husband, Nathan, have one daughter, Nell.
