Miguel Nunez, R.Ph

My name is Miguel Nuñez, I was born in Panama. I came to the USA in 1982. In High School, I developed a passion for Chemistry and decided then to pursue a career related to that. I started my major in Pharmacy not knowing the great things the career will offer as a whole. I graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana in 1987. Right after graduation, in January 1988, I moved to the great Metropolis of Dallas/Fort Worth where it all started for me as Pharmacy intern. That same year I officially became a registered Pharmacist and my life changed forever, in so many great ways. I quickly realized the great challenge my job had, on my shoulders was the need to teach and educate the community about how I can impact their lives. As the years went by, I became more knowledgeable and experienced in my field, giving me more confidence and motivation to accomplish my mission as a Pharmacist, to ‘’make people live longer, healthier and happier lives”.

Today, I look back 33 years later and feel I have made great contributions to the community in every place I have lived. However, by far the best employer has been Grove Pharmacy in Springfield, Missouri. In my 9 years with this company, I have challenged myself to do more and more. I soon became the Director for Grove Pharmacy and Spa. My responsibilities changed to taking care of our wonderful customers in the pharmacy, the great clients in the spa, as well as all of employees in our great company. It is impressive how this company started 69 years ago, 1952 to be exact, and it is still privately owned. I look forward to the many years to come, where we will accomplish even greater things at Grove Pharmacy and Grove Spa.

Truly yours, Miguel Nuñez
